The Fiji Muslim Youth Movement (FMYM) stands today as one of the most influential and enduring subsidiaries of the Fiji Muslim League. For more than four decades, FMYM has provided a platform for Muslim youth to strengthen their faith, develop leadership skills, serve their communities, and contribute positively to society.
Guided by its motto, “To Learn, Teach and Propagate Islam,” FMYM has played a pivotal role in nurturing generations of young Muslims who have gone on to become educators, professionals, community leaders, office bearers of the Fiji Muslim League, and contributors to the wider Fijian society.
One of the important targets of the movements is to prepare members for Islamic Leadership and instill the concept of Muslim brotherhood.
